It started as an attempt to put some book characters of mine on paper to visualize them better and led to something completely unexpected. I had not tried anything artistic since I was a small child and was amazed at what fun it was. Of course my art is amateur and lacking proper techniques since I've never taken a real art class (last one was in elementary school and I'm pretty dang old so its been a long time) but I enjoy it and maybe there are some others out there that will too. Right now my addiction is oil painting, I just love the way you can blend and mix the colors and create amazing things without even meaning to.
